This is a very necessary step that other TEM companies tend to neglect. Management of telecom expenditures is no different than any other fiscal strategy- and typically requires an expert resource within the company. However, the days of manual processes are no longer a viable option for companies that want to operate at the most efficient level while also controlling costs. BroadVue® is a powerful turnkey solution that encompasses the full lifecycle of a telecom expense. Our solution goes beyond generating hard-dollar savings for end users. Our patent-pending processes automate a number of expense management functions that would otherwise consume valuable resources within your company.
Our solution is quite different from many of our competitors because WE process the invoice, parse the data, validate the data and dynamically load to our database. The benefit to you is when you login to BroadVue all the invoice data is there. There is NEVER a need to map your invoice format to that of the application, or spend your valuable time uploading invoice data to the application. We also verify each service on the invoice is currently in the inventory, otherwise these anomalies generate an exception report for further validation. Ultimately, this proactively identifies fraud or paying for disconnected services and eliminates wasteful and avoidable spending.
BroadVue® InvoiceAdvisor™
Broadline’s patent-pending technology affords us the ability to present data in an efficient, user-friendly format that can easily be customized. For example, large organizations do not necessarily want to share total telecom expenditures among their operating divisions or business segments. Instead, a drilldown according to each division or segment for fiscal management purposes is desired and can easily be accomplished with Broadline’s InvoiceAdvisor service.
To explain the power of this unique function, imagine one month’s invoice for wireless telecom services totals 1,000 pages.. Assume user Jane Doe’s detailed charges are on page 785-791. By clicking on a link in BroadVue® or having an email auto-generated to the approving manager, one can simply click on a link to an image file of only pages 785-791. Furthermore, the auto-generated email can be customized to show the total overage charges, credits, etc.
Intelligence Reporting

No matter how robust your TEM solution is, it must offer an easy way to extract the data and present it in a customized format. BroadVue not only has a series of standard reports, it also possesses the ability for the user to do real-time queries against the live database and create customized reports. These customized reports can then be filtered further using a drop-down in the report header. Each of these reports can be exported outside of BroadVue for further manipulation of the data to accommodate our client’s needs.
A few reports you can run within BroadVue:
- Variance reports including % increases, additional usage, etc.
- Summary reports for all wireless & wireline services, as well as equipment.
